Long-Term Running Goals:

Keep running as a priority in my life.  I initially started running because I told myself "there are no fat runners" (not meaning to offend anyone--just needed something to help me get fit after 4 babies!)  Then I started discovering not only the health benefits of running but the psychological benefits!  These were the icing on the cake!  Running makes me happy, it makes me funner, it makes me feel so much better about myself, etc., etc..  There are way too many benefits to ever give up!  I may never win a race, but I am happy and make life better for my family because of this little piece of time I take for myself!

Personal:

I've been married for 18 years and have 4 fabulously cute boys (15, 12, 10, 6).  I love running, reading, volleyball, scuba diving, gardening, cooking, and hanging out with my family.

After feeling "burned out" with running, I decided to take a day and do something else. 40 minutes of Yoga and Belly Dancing did the trick. My legs feel tired and I'm happy to be inside my warm house. Maybe I'll do some weights tonight.

Also did 20 pushups and 30 situps. Not many, but something!

Fun! I am sitting here wishing that I didn't want to eat all of the crackers and everything else in the house. I need a salad :)
